What does
UV lash mean?
UV curing is the method used to cure compatible lash adhesive during application.
You relax with your eyes closed while Lucy carefully applies each extension and briefly cures the adhesive. The appointment still feels much like a traditional lash treatment: calm, precise and shaped around the result you would like.

Will my eyes be open during the treatment?
No. Your eyes remain closed during lash application and curing, with protective eye patches included in the appointment setup.
What does the light do?
The light is used briefly during application to cure the compatible adhesive as each extension is placed. It is an in-salon application step, not something you need to continue at home.
Has the FlashCure light been safety tested?
Xtreme Lashes states that its FlashCure UV light was independently tested to the IEC 62471 photobiological safety standard and classified as Risk Group 1, or “Low Risk”, under normal-use conditions. Lash Haven follows the manufacturer’s professional guidance, including closed eyes, the specified UV-blocking upper and lower eye patches, compatible equipment and adhesive, and controlled activation. Low risk does not mean zero risk, which is why careful application and client comfort remain important.
What if I have sensitive eyes?
Every client is different, and no lash adhesive suits absolutely everyone. If you have sensitive eyes, current irritation or a history of lash-adhesive reactions, please tell Lucy before booking so she can guide you appropriately.
Can I ask questions before deciding?
Absolutely. Lucy would rather you feel informed and comfortable than uncertain or pressured. You are welcome to discuss the treatment before proceeding.

IEC 62471 is an international standard used to evaluate the photobiological safety of lamps and LED systems. Xtreme Lashes reports that the FlashCure UV light was independently tested to this standard and classified as Risk Group 1, or “Low Risk”, under normal-use conditions. The manufacturer’s specified protection and application instructions still matter.
